Welcome to the Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences (EBSS)
EBSS continues to succeed with outstanding ATAR results. 35% of students scored 95+ and 50% of students scored 90+ in each year, 2015-2017
EBSS is a branch of The University High School designed to cater and engage young people in years 11 and 12 who have a passion and the potential for success in the fields of Science & Mathematics. EBSS exposes students to the latest innovations and excellence in the teaching of contemporary science and mathematics in partnership with the University of Melbourne and Bio21.
Students enrolled in the EBSS at The University High School will be provided with an academic program focussed on the sciences and mathematics in a very supportive and engaging environment. Students are mentored by University of Melbourne post graduate students from Bio21, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI) or other Science, Engineering and Mathematical Institutes in our precinct, who guide them to maximise their learning opportunities.
Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences acknowledges the support of the Victorian Government.
